Take your morning espresso on a rich, thick and frosty journey. With a touch of chocolate and a layer of creaminess from sweet ripe bananas, it’s a wonderful way to kick off your day!
Who doesn’t love a great cup of coffee to get your morning up and running? And smoothies have always been a delicious “go to” for breakfast or a break in the day. This is a quick and delicious mix of the two!
I always keep ripe bananas in my freezer. They come in handy and they’re a scrumptious substitute for ice cream in frozen drinks. For this latte, blend them with freshly brewed espresso or a dark roast coffee along with a cold pour of milk. Then toss in a scoop of bittersweet chocolate followed by some ice to finish things up.
Grab your blender – this is perfecting for sipping in the morning or as a pick me up on a sunny afternoon!
