Cold, creamy, and bursting with the luscious flavors of the summer’s best!
I can’t get enough of the peaches this summer and luckily there has been an abundance of the gorgeous stone fruit this season. So taking inspiration from their vibrant hue, this fruit smoothie seemed to fit nicely into the start of my week. The stars in this frosty beverage are those delectable peaches paired with red, ripe strawberries. And these two play quite nicely with one another.
It’s a short list of supporting characters of peach juice blended with bananas, adding their unique sweet silkiness, finished with a generous scoop of frozen vanilla yogurt.
Some tips on ingredients. You can find peach juice or nectar bottled in the juice aisle of most food markets. Freezing the fruit will give you that really cold, thick smoothie…
and that extra scoop of frozen yogurt will leave you thinking of an old fashioned, soda fountain style milkshake!
Toss everything into your blender and in no time you’re serving up this chilly treat that’s ideal for brunch or an afternoon break.
Go grab a straw – this is beyond divine!
