Plump cherries swirl with red, ripe strawberries and creamy yogurt offering up a delicious treat for a morning or afternoon refresh! Here’s a glorious drink full of summer’s sweetest fruits – and as delightful to the eye as it is to your tastebuds!
It’s been a crazy, busy start to summer. As I’m catching up on some household chores, something seriously simple for a late morning break seems in order. And this is a perfect cold beverage to add some chill to the day.
So simple to make. It starts with a blend of both cherry and strawberry yogurts. Then toss in a banana, a drizzle of honey and a splash of orange juice. Follow with a generous handful of sweet cherries and strawberries.
Give it a whirl in your blender and pour it up in a tall glass. That’s it. Nothing complicated.
You can start with fresh fruit and freeze it yourself. Or grab a bag of organic frozen cherries and strawberries from the freezer at your favorite market to make life even easier. In no time you’ll have one luscious drink – and one for a friend.
