Cheddar Garlic Biscuits

Strands of cheddar cheese tossed throughout these light, fluffy biscuits. Not a biscuit in the traditional sense. These biscuits are brushed with rich melted butter blended with garlic powder and parsley creating a delightful, savory bite! Oh, and did we say easy? Yes, very easy!

Equipment

  • Large baking sheet, lined with Silpat liner or parchment paper

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups biscuit and baking mix
  • 1 cup sharp shredded cheddar cheese
  • cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ¾ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 450-degrees.
  • In a large bowl, whisk the baking mix with the cheddar cheese.
  • Pour the milk into the mix, stirring to blend together.
  • Divide the dough into 12 biscuits, dropping them on a Silpat or parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  • Whisk the parsley and garlic powder into the melted butter.
  • Lightly brush the butter mixture over the tops of each biscuit
  • Bake in a 450-degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until puffed, set, and golden on the edges and bottom.
