Ingredients
1poundharicots verts or slender green beans
2tablespoonsextra-virgin olive oil
¾teaspoonkosher salt
½teaspoonfreshly cracked black pepper
4thin slices of prosciutto, about 1-1/2 ounces
Instructions
Toss the green beans with the olive oil, coating them well. Spread the beans out onto a baking sheet lined with a Silpat or foil.
Sprinkle the kosher salt and black pepper evenly over the beans.
Cut the prosciutto into thin strips and scatter the prosciutto evenly over the green beans.
Roast in a 400-degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until the beans are tender.
Notes
If you can't find haricots verts or slender green beans, you can use a string bean. They're a bit thicker so just add a few minutes of cooking time.
