1cupsugar
1tablespoonwhite Karo syrup
¼teaspoonkosher salt
¾cuphalf and half
6tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1teaspoonpure vanilla extract
Instructions
Combine the sugar, corn syrup, kosher salt and half and half in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved and sauce has thickened slightly, about 20 minutes.
Add the peanut butter blending into the sauce.
Remove the pan from the heat and allow the sauce to cool for about 5 minutes, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Serve warm. Store sauce in the refrigerator and when you're ready to serve, warm gently in the microwave, then give it a good stir.
